Gambaran Pengetahuan Ibu Tentang Penyakit Obesitas Pada Ibu Hamil Di Kelurahan Sihitang Lingkungan I Kecamatan Padangsidimpuan Tenggara Kota Padangsidimpuan Tahun 2020

Obesity is a complex and multifactorial disease characterized by being overweight due to the accumulation of excessive fat in the body. Obesity is caused by an imbalance in the amount of energy that enters and the amount of energy expended so that body weight becomes heavier than the ideal body weight due to the accumulation of fat in the body. The purpose of the study was to determine the description of maternal knowledge about obesity in pregnant women in Sihitang Environment I Village, Southeast Padangsidimpuan District, Padangsidimpuan City in 2020. This type of research is descriptive by using an instrument or a questionnaire. This research was conducted in Sihitang Village, Southeast Padangsidimpuan District, starting from June to July 2020. The population in this study was 178 women in Sihitang Village. The sample in this study was 30 people who were taken at random (simple random sampling). The results showed that this knowledge description showed the highest category of tofu was based on the tofu category 53.3% (16 people), the very knowledgeable category 26.7% (8 people), and the less knowledgeable category 20.0% (6 people). Specific Description of Mother's Knowledge About Obesity in Pregnant Women by Age showed 26-30 years 72.7% (7 people), followed by 31-53 years old (4 people), followed by 36-40 years old 50.0% (3 people ), and followed by the age of 21-25 years 20.0% (1 person). Description of Mother's Knowledge About Obesity in Pregnant Women Based on Education. shows the tofu category, namely the highest tofu category is SD as much as 66.7% (2 people), followed by SMP as much as 55.6% (5 people), followed by SMA with 50.0% (6 people) and PT with 50.0% ( 3 people).
